New Traffic Congestion Hits Ridgefield
The area around the corner of Main and Governor is undergoing roadwork.

RIDGEFIELD, CT --- Drivers in Ridgefield, accustomed as they may be to delays along the Route 35 bridge near the Fox Hill condos, were no doubt startled to see their morning commute snarled from a new direction on Tuesday. The traffic in the area around the corner of Main Street and Governor Street in front of Fairfield County Bank and Wells Fargo was slowed to a crawl as state Department of Transportation workers drilled in preparation for more roadwork at the intersection, the Ridgefield Press is reporting.
