She was charged with sixth-degree larceny at Ridgefield Police Department headquarters, posted bond, and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court later this month.

Officials, including board members and public safety chiefs, cited unresolved questions about costs, wetlands and zoning approvals, long‑term space needs, and public outreach, and now expect a standalone referendum at a later date.
