Across the street from the Fire Department, this is one of several dry cleaners within walking distance of Main Street. The owners work to reduce environmental impact via hydrocarbon cleaning machine, hanger and bag recycling, and energy efficient lighting. Free pick-up/drop-off and monthly billing add to the convenience factor. Tailoring services on-site. Suits dry-cleaned for $12.20, cashmere sweaters for $6.60, and men’s shirts laundered for $2. Open 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 6 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday.
One Price Cleaners Inc. – 437 Main St., (203) 431-6200
This is another cleaner you can visit while running errands in-town. As the name implies, there is one price for every major item. All jackets, pants, dresses & sweaters are $5. Suits – considered two pieces – are $10. If you bring in 3 or more items, your men’s shirts will be priced at $1.10 vs. $1.70. Organic cleaning service, with 1-2 day turnaround available and tailoring on-site. Open 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, and 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday.
Frances Cleaners INC – 145 High Ridge Ave., (203) 438-6708
Frances’ has a rich history, starting out in 1928 as a hand laundry, and switching over to a dry cleaner in the early 1950’s. Even the location – the old Biddle house – is historic. Its success is based entirely on word-of-mouth, as every garment is treated with extra-special care. It specializes in high-end cleaning, including collector’s items, and has seen many famous clients throughout the years. Pricing varies; call for details. Pick up/drop off is $0.75 per round-trip delivery, regardless of the number of items or proximity to location. Services Ridgefield and surrounding areas. Next to Colby’s in the old Balducci’s plaza, Ridgefield Cleaners is just a short walk from Main Street. It offers organic cleaning with free pick-up and drop-off twice per week. One-day turnaround is available, and there is an expert tailor on-site. Suits dry-cleaned for $14, cashmere sweaters for $6.75, and men’s shirts laundered for $1.95. Open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Sanda’s is another environmentally friendly dry cleaning service, with one-day turn-around and free pick-up and drop-off twice per week. Located in the Citibank plaza, at the corner of Main St. and Route 116. Suits dry-cleaned for $14, cashmere sweaters for $6.75, and men’s shirts laundered for $1.95. Open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

This is a new dry cleaning facility, located next to Ridgefield Auto Body on Route 7. Although cleaning services performed off-site, daily pick-up allows for 1-2-day turn-around. They are currently offering special introductory pricing of 40 percent off all orders. Open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday 8am-5pm.

Drop off your dry-cleaning along with your packages at this facility situated in the Parma Market/UPS Store plaza. Cleaning is performed at the Bethel location, allowing for next day availability. Reasonably priced, with suits dry-cleaned for $12, Cashmere sweaters for $6.50, and men’s shirts laundered for $1.90. Open Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
