Pedestrian Struck By Car on Route 7
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Route 7 while trying to cross at an intersection.

A pedestrian was struck by a car on Route 7 on Jan. 8 while trying to cross the road at the intersection of Honey Hollow Road in Wilton, just a few miles from Ridgefield.
According to a police report, Angela Stefaopoulos of Redding, was driving southbound in her 2001 BMX X5 when an unidentified male pedestrian stepped out into the roadway at approximately 4:18 p.m. The pedestrian was propelled about 25 feet into the northbound lane.
Wilton EMS evaluated the pedestrian and he was transported to Norwalk Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges have been made while police investigate the accident.
