Popular Ridgefield Pizzeria Shuts Down

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A restaurant in business less than two years has shuttered on Danbury Road.

Lions Bleecker Street Pizza shut down its operation at 103 Danbury Road in Ridgefield at the end of October.

The business still maintains a restaurant in Newtown and continues to promote the Riedgefield location on its website. But a sign on the frontdoor of its Copps Hill Common storefront directs parties interested in the space to the buiding's owner, Ridgefield selectman Steve Zemo.
