Land Conservancy of Ridgefield Announces New Board Members to Strengthen local Conservation Efforts
Ridgefield, CT— April 2026— The Board of Directors of the Land Conservancy of Ridgefield is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its governing board: Jan Goldflus, Liam Huff and Felix Touchard. They join us with a shared commitment to the conservancy’s mission of protecting local land, water, habitats, and wildlife for future generations.
"We are honored to welcome such a dedicated group of leaders to our team," said Michael Carpenter, Board President of the Land Conservancy of Ridgefield. "Their passion for the outdoors, the environment, and their community roots will be invaluable as we continue our conservation work to protect and steward more than 700 acres of open space."
Meet the New Board Members:
- Jan Goldfluss: Jan Goldfluss is an 11-year Ridgefield resident and a landscape architect with 45 years of professional experience. As a former board member of the Stamford Conservation Land Trust, he is passionate about conservation, environmental protection, and land stewardship. Jan is also a board member on the Ridgefield Architectural Advisory Committee.
- Liam Huff: A 2021 Ridgefield High School Graduate, and a 2025 Graduate of Northeastern University with a combined degree in Business and Communications. Liam has worked extensively in entrepreneurship with a heavy undercurrent of green infrastructure. He has lived in Ridgefield for 20 years, and is passionate about protecting the land he has spent his life exploring.
- Felix Touchard: With more than 25 years of experience in the asset management industry, he brings a strategic, outcomes-driven approach to his role as Treasurer of the Land Conservancy of Ridgefield. A passionate advocate for wellness and well-being, Touchard believes conservation and strong community ties are essential to both environmental health and human flourishing.
The new members took office in early 2026.
