Really, Really, Big Bronze Tiger Drops at Ridgefield High School
The 400-pound beauty is a gift from the Ridgefield High Class of 2019.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Forget those black bears. There's been a bronze tiger sighting in Ridgefield.
Workers arrived today to begin installation of some heavy metal statuary depicting the high school's mascot in a place of honor in front of the building.
A school spokesperson told Patch the 400-pound feline, a gift from the Class of 2019, still needs a few more tweaks before it is permanently enshrined before the first day of school on August 30.
