The 80's pop icon most famous for 'Jesse's Girl' is being sued by a fan who claims she was knocked unconscious by Springfield's buttocks.

Rick Springfield fans planning on seeing Rick Springfield at the Ridgefield Playhouse next month may want to beware of the pop star’s buttocks.

According to Syracuse.com, a fan claimed she was knocked unconscious when the singer’s buttocks knocked her down. Vicki Calcagno, 45, is suing Springfield for striking her with his buttocks while performing at a 2004 New York State Fair.

A witness in the trail, Penny Anne Nolin, claims that she was also knocked down by Springfield’s buttocks during the 2004 concert. She said during the trial that Springfield had one foot on the back of a metal bench and the other foot on a white fence and fell backwards into the crowd, knocking her to her knees.

Apparently Springfield became emotional during the trail when his lawyer, John Pfeifer, asked him about going out into the audience. Springfield was given a tissue to dry his tears when explaining how he likes to go into the crowd to be closer to his fans.
