Ridgefield Dad Accused in Son's Hot Car Death is Due in Court Tuesday
Kyle Seitz was arrested on Nov. 11, 2014 and charged with criminally negligent homicide. He is due in court Tuesday.

The Ridgefield father accused of criminally negligent homicide in the death of his infant son is due in Danbury Superior Court Tuesday for his pre-trial hearing.
Kyle Seitz, 36, turned himself into police on Nov. 11, 2014 after learning there was a warrant out for his arrest. Seitz is accused of leaving his infant son, Bejamin Seitz, in a hot car when temperatures soared into the 80s while he went to work.
Fifteen-month-old Benjamin Seitz passed away on July 7, 2014. On Aug. 21 the state’s medical examiner’s office ruled the baby’s death was a homicide caused by hypothermia.

Kyle Seitz pled non-guilty to the Class A misdemeanor. If convicted, he faces a year in prison.
