Ridgefield Acquires More Open Space: Report
Residents voted to approve spending funds for the town to purchase the land.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Local residents authorized the town to spend about $124,000 to purchase a 15-acre parcel in the Pine Mountain section of town near the Ridgefield-Danbury line, the Ridgefield Press reports.
The land will become open space and possibly more trails and was previously owned by the Boy Scouts of America’s Connecticut Yankee Council, the Ridgefield Press reports.
