RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield's boards, committees, and commissions are staffed by volunteers from the community, and many (see below) are currently undermanned. If you are interested in getting involved, email torfirstselectperson@ridgefieldct.gov.
- Architectural Advisory Committee: Five-member committee with five alternates; four-year term; Vacancies - 2 alternates
- Blight Citation Hearing Appeals Board: Three-member Board; Vacancies - 2
- Building Code Board of Appeals: Five-member committee; five-year term; Vacancy - 1
- Board of Ethics: Five member committee with one alternate; two-year term; Vacancy - 1 alternate
- Cable TV Advisory Council: Three- member council; four-year term; Vacancies - 2
- Commission for Accessibility: Nine-member commission; two-year terms (staggered); Vacancies - 2
- Conservation Commission: Nine-member commission with two alternates; three-year term; Vacancies - 1 alternate
- Constables: No more than seven; two-year term; Vacancies - 3
- Deer Management Implementation Committee: Five-member committee; four-year term; Vacancies - 1
- Economic & Community Development Commission: Nine-member commission; two-year term; Vacancies - 1
- Parking Authority: Five-member committee; one-year term; Vacancies - 2
- Ridgefield Arts Council: Fifteen-member council; four-year term; Vacancies -3
- Water Pollution Control Authority: Five-member committee; four-year term; Vacancies - 1
- Youth Commission: Sixteen-member commission; two-year term (at least three and no more than four youth members ages 13-17); Vacancies - 7
