The Ridgefield boys hockey team dropped its second straight game Wednesday, falling 4-2 to undefeated Xavier at Wesleyan University in Middletown.
Tim Kelly and Sean Wilkinson scored for the Tigers (1-2), who were coming off Monday's 5-4 loss at Notre Dame of Fairfield.
Xavier (3-0) opened a 2-0 lead after the first period, then took a 4-2 advantage into the third period.

Ridgefield nows heads to a tournament in Maine, where it will plays games next Wednesday and Thursday.
After that, the Tigers will be off until Jan. 12, when they host Stamford in their first home game of the season.
