RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Planning and Zoning Commission Tuesday will consider a proposed zoning change to allow breweries and brew pubs along Route 7 in what is now called a B-2 commercial zone, reports the Ridgefield Press.

Local businessman and property owner Robert Kaye, who owns a site on Route 7 at 137 Ethan Allen Highway, is seeking the zoning amendment to allow him to apply to build a brewery and brew pub on the parcel.

The public hearing is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the town hall annex on East Ridge Road.
