RIDGEFIELD, CT — A local farm has been featured in the latest episode of "Edible Nutmeg on the Road," which highlights local food, farming, and sustainability.
The episode looked into The Hickories, a local organic farm located at 136 Lounsbury Road in Ridgefield, a USDA-certified organic farm boasting a variety of fruits, vegetables, meats and more. The episode highlighted the farm's efforts to maintain their crops throughout the year, including the ever-difficult winter season.
