Ridgefield Finishes Sixth in Class LL Swimming
Brian Bollerman, Andrew Klutey and Derrian Duryea led the way for the Tigers.

Led by Brian Bollerman, Andrew Klutey and Derrian Duryea, the Ridgefield boys swimming team finished sixth in the CIAC Class LL swimming meet on Tuesday at Wesleyan University.
The Tigers finished with 415 points, placing behind Greenwich (667), Fairfield Prep (480.5), Westhill/Stamford (471) , Glastonbury (455) and Staples (451).
Bollerman and Klutey each posted a pair of runner-up finishes and were members of two relay teams that finished second.

Klutey finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.68) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.74) while Bollerman's second-place efforts came in the 200-yard IM (1.55.20) and 100-yard breaststroke (58.23).
Duryea had two top-fives finishes, placing third in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.22) and fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (21.77).

Bollerman, Klutey and Duryea qualified for the state Open meet set for Saturday at Yale at 12:30 p.m.
Duryea, Grayson Smith, Bollerman, Klutey comprised Ridgefield's unit that finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:28.16.
Bollerman and Klutey also were on the 400-yard freestyle relay team, along with Smith and Thomas Parks, that came in second with a time of 3:15.03.
Finally, the Tigers finished sixth in the 200-yard medley relay (Parks, Duryea, Thomas Szilagyi and Michael Peckham) in 1:42.82.
