Ridgefield Fire Crews Assist Wilton While They Responded to House Fire
Fire crews from Ridgefield provided mutual aid to the Wilton Fire Department while they battled a blaze.

RIDGEFIELD, CT-- Firefighters responded to a blaze at 516 Belden Hill Road on Monday, March 7 at approximately 8:30a.m., according to The Wilton Bulletin.
Wilton Fire Chief Ron Kanterman told the paper that the fire damaged the breezeway, in between the main house and the garage. Wilton Emergency Management stated on their Facebook page that the area of Belden Hill Road between Old Belden Hill Road and the Norwalk Town Line was closed due to the structure fire in the area. The road is now open.

Units from Weston, New Canaan and Westport each provided ladder trucks, the Weston fire chief was on scene and Wilton EMS and Wilton CERT all responded to the fire. The Ridgefield Fire Department also provided mutual aid to cover fire headquarters on Danbury Road.
