Ridgefield A Better Chance invites you to their “RABC Forward Together” Gala
Ridgefield, CT — March 7,2046— Ridgefield A Better Chance (RABC) is changing things up this year for its annual "Forward Together" Gala, the program’s most important fundraiser.
“Come, shed the winter doldrums and be inspired. Our Forward Together Gala is the event to attend if you’ve ever wondered what RABC is all about,” says Gala Chair, Michelle DiMiceli. The gala offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from the Scholars, Alumnae, our Honoree, Megan Searfoss of Ridgefield Running Co. and Ridgefielders who make the program such a powerful force for opportunity and education.
Guests can expect several exciting highlights this year, including:
• Live music from Ridgefield’s Sugar House Band, guaranteed to get people on the dance floor. Sugar House Band
• Inspiring remarks from current Scholars and Alumnae, sharing their personal journeys
• Exclusive auction experiences, including a Tauck Tour Belgium-Holland River Boat cruise,a weeklong stay in a beautiful Hamptons home, private tour of Maurice Sendak’s home, Clam bake on a private island and more....
• Cocktails, dinner, and an elegant evening with friends and neighbors supporting a meaningful cause
The gala will take place on Friday, March 27th at Le Chateau hosted by Ridgefield’s own emcee extraordinaire, Tom Pesce bringing together community leaders, longtime supporters, and new friends of the program to celebrate the life-changing opportunities Ridgefield A Better Chance has created for outstanding. young women of color for nearly four decades.
Funds raised during the evening directly support the program’s residential home, tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment opportunities for its Scholars.

ABOUT RIDGEFIELD A BETTER CHANCE
Ridgefield A Better Chance provides academically talented young women of color from underserved communities the opportunity to attend Ridgefield High School while living in a supportive residential home and becoming part of the Ridgefield community. Through mentorship, academic guidance, and the generosity of volunteers and donors, RABC scholars graduate prepared to thrive at leading colleges and universities.
