Ridgefield High School Moves Up in Girls Basketball Poll

The Tigers opened the season with eight victories in nine outings.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — For the first time in a very long while, a team other than Capital Prep sits atop the Connecticut high school girls basketball poll.

New London (10-0) assumed the top position in the latest weekly balloting, collecting eight first-place votes, while Capital Prep dropped to second.

Ridgefield High School moved up a spot to the number nine ranking.
