Ridgefield Land Conservancy Applies for National Recognition: Report

The accreditation program recognizes land conservation organizations that meet national quality standards for protecting land.

RIDGEFIELD, CT-- The Land Conservancy of Ridgefield, Inc. recently announced that they are applying for national accreditation with the Land Trust Accreditation Commission.

“This is a major step for the Land Conservancy of Ridgefield," said Joan Corley, Vice President. “Going through the accreditation process will strengthen our organization and will affirm all the hard work we have done over the years growing and protecting land conservation in Ridgefield.”

The Commission is now accepting signed, written comments on the pending application. For a full list of standards visit www.landtrustaccreditation.org .
