Ridgefield Man, 40, Arrested on DWI Charge in Lewisboro Under 'Leandra's Law'
The arrest occurred after Davies was involved in a one-car accident, and a passenger under the age of 17 was also in the vehicle.

Bryce Davies, 40, of Ridgefield, Conn., was arrested on an Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated charge Christmas Eve following a one-car crash in Lewisboro, N.Y., according to New York State Police.
No injuries were reported in the 10:45 p.m. accident, which occurred on West Lane. During the investigation into the crash, police discovered that Davies’ Blood Alcohol Content was .19 percent, which is more than twice the legal limit.
Additionally, there was an unnamed passenger in the car under the age of 17, which led police to charge Davies under the Leandra’s Law provision, which automatically turns a DWI charge in New York to a felony if there is a minor in the vehicle when someone is arrested on DWI charges.
