Ridgefield Man Charged With Newtown Robbery: PD
A Ridgefield man on parole was charged with a Newtown robbery.
NEWTOWN, CT — Officers arrested two shoplifting suspects after they stole several cases of Red Bull from the Queen Street Big Y store Feb. 27, police said.
A struggle ensued when the suspects were confronted by security at the store. The suspects fled before police arrived.
State Police troopers on I-84 spotted the suspect vehicle and stopped the suspects.
Mitchell Carroll, 25, of Ridgefield was charged with second-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree assault. Allison Napolitano, 27, of West Hartford was charged with the same.
Carroll is a convicted felon who is out on parole and Napolitano has a pending arrest warrant from Redding Police related to a larceny.
