Ridgefield Man Charged In Sexual Assault Of Minor: Police

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police said a Ridgefield man has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor, the News-Times reported. The suspect was arrested Wednesday on a warrant, police said.

Police said Jose Recinos, 51, of Ridgefield was charged with touching a child inappropriately on two occasions several years ago, according to the News-Times. The child had allegedly only told someone about the incident recently, police said.

Police said they obtained a warrant for the suspect's arrest after further investigation, the News-Times reported. Police did not disclose the age or gender of the child, and declined to provide details about the alleged incidents.
