Ridgefield Movie Theater Employing Disabled Adults Shines Light On Special Employees

We are happy bring you our newest content partner, Prospector Theater. You may remember the heartwarming original video we aired introducing the theater and it’s nobel efforts. The new, state-of-the-art Prospector Theater, located in Ridgefield CT, has one mission – “to provide adults with disabilities opportunities for meaningful employment and vocational training.” Valerie Jensen founded the theater in honor of her sister who has Down syndrome in an effort to create more jobs and opportunities for other people with disabilities.

Prospector Theater has launched a new series a videos profiling their talented and special employees, whom they call ‘Prospects.’ These talented Prospects even help produce the videos, which help them learn and grow in addition to their other roles at the theater.

In this video kicking off the Prospector Profiles series, we bring you a very charismatic and hardworking young man named Dillan Tepfer. You will learn that Dillan works at Prospect Theater in the cafe and hopes to become an artist one day. He explains all he is learning and how his experience at the theater as helped him grow as an individual.
