Ridgefield Names Paddyfote Interim Schools Superintendent

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The Board of Education has appointed JeanAnn Paddyfote interim superintendent of Ridgefield schools, The Ridgefield Press has reported,

Paddyfote had previously served as the superintendent of schools for New Milford, a post she held for thirteen years, and acting superintendent of Avon schools from August 2017 through March 2018.

She takes over for Ridgefield acting superintendent Dr. Robert Miller on July. Miller was named to the position earlier this year in March, following the resignation of then superintendent Karen Baldwin.

The BOE is continuing to work with search firms to find a permanent schools superintendent.
