Baldwin's departure comes after allegations of plagiarism surfaced. Portions of a letter sent to the school community after the Parkland, Fla. shooting came from a letter sent by West Hartford's superintendent.

Ridgefield High School senior Paul Kim brought the allegations to light along with three other documents that appear to be copied without attribution.
