Ridgefield P & Z Commission Denies Permit to Dredging Business
Neighbors complain the equipment creates an eyesore and devalues property.

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The Planning and Zoning Commission denied a special permit application for a pond-dredging service at 6 Clearview Drive on Tuesday, the Ridgefield Press has reported.
Sacred Waters LLC has operated out of the residence of John Keegan there for several years. Last month, neighbor Jeffrey Londona filed a complaint with the zoning board. The complaint centers around the equipment needed to support his business, which Keegan keeps in his yard.
At the meeting on Tuesday, Keegan offered to build structures and/or plant evergreen trees to conceal the equipment, which neighbors at the meeting claimed create an eyesore and devalue surrounding properties.
