Ridgefield PD Investigates Commercial Burglaries

Several commercial burglaries have occurred between mid-May and the beginning of June.

RIDGEFIELD, CT- Police are investigating four commercial burglaries that have been reported within a matter of weeks in town.

The latest burglary was reported June 1 on Grove Street. The business was entered sometime in the overnight hours and it appears nothing was taken.

Police responded to a burglary report on Route 35 near Route 7 on May 16. The burglary occurred sometime between the afternoon on May 14 and the morning of May 16. It is unclear if anything was taken.

On May 25 a Main Street business reported that a burglar or burglars entered sometime between May 24 and May 25. $80 was reported missing.

On May 26 a Danbury Road business near the Danbury town line was reported to be the site of a burglary. A cash register and laptop were taken between May 25 and May 26.
