Ridgefield PD Welcomes Home Officer who Served in Afghanistan

The Ridgefield Police Department welcomed home an officer who recently returned from active duty in Afghanistan.

Officer Matthew Seibert, 1st Lieutenant in the Connecticut Army National Guard, was assigned as a military police officer to the 143rd RSG out of Middletown, the Ridgefield Police Department wrote on their Facebook page, continuing--

“Officer Seibert worked in the Base Defense Operations Center in support of the Train, Advise, Assist Command-Capital Region Mission. During his deployment Officer Seibert worked with soldiers from 37 different NATO coalition partners. He has been with the Ridgefield Police Department since 2013. Welcome home Matt and thank you for serving our country.”
