Ridgefield Photo of the Day: All Natural Landscaping, Courtesy of The Hickories Farm
Do you have a compelling photo of a Ridgefield scene you'd like to see featured on Ridgefield Patch? Find out how.

Today’s photo of the day features a flock of hungry sheep, grazing on green grass at The Hickories Farm, with a blanket of fog as their backdrop.
Want to see more of these sheep up close and personal? Then save the date for The Hickories Free Winter Sheep Stroll. In this annual farm tradition, farm owners will take expectant mother sheep in from their autumn pastures to the cozy comfort of a warm winter barn. Participants will gather on Lounsbury Road to light the sheep’s way with lanterns and listen to the holidays bells ring as the sheep comes home to their mangers.
The Holiday Sheep Stroll is on Nov. 29, 2015. Click here to R.S.V.P.
The Hickories Farm is located at 136 Lounsbury Road in Ridgefield and specializes in producing “safe and nutritious products grown with respect for soil, animals, and people,” according to their website.
The Farm Store is now open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m.
