Ridgefield Police Arrest Danbury Woman on Larceny Charge
The police investigation into the woman's activities dates back to February
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police report that a Danbury woman turned herself in last week on an arrest warrant charging her with first-degree larceny.
Amparo Sandoval, 54, was charged with stealing $60,000 from "the accounts of a private organization" in Ridgefield, according to a police report. The police investigation into Sandoval's activities dates back to February, according to police.
Sandoval was processed at Ridgefield Police Headquarters and released on a $100,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on July 24.
