Ridgefield Police Department Welcomes 3 New Officers

​These three officers were selected from 91 candidates who had applied to be a Ridgefield Police Officer.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Police Department has sworn in three new officers.

Officers Roosevelt Theodore, Hillard Bloom, and Andrew Luis were sworn in on Wednesday in a ceremony at the Lounsbury House by Town Clerk, Wendy Lionetti.

These three officers were selected from 91 candidates who had applied to be a Ridgefield Police Officer.

The trio will attend the Connecticut Police Academy for around six months beginning June 3, before returning to start their Field Training Program in Ridgefield.
