Ridgefield Police Investigating Overnight Graffiti Incidents

Police received numerous complaints of properties being spray-painted around town.

The Ridgefield Police Department is investigating several reports of overnight criminal mischief, including the spray-painting of vehicles, mailboxes, driveway lights, and signs.

Police say residents on the following roads in town reported damage: Caudatowa Drive, Ramapoo Road, Armand Road, Old Sib Road, Tackora Trail, Eleven Levels Road, Old West Mountain Road, Green Lane and Bennetts Farm Road.

Police believe that the criminal mischief occurred during the evening hours of Oct. 7 and that the damage was done at random.

The spray paint used in these incidents were orange and pink in color, according to police.

Police said that though considerable, it is unclear the monetary value of the damage at this time.
