RIDGEFIELD, CT — The police are seeking the public's assistance with a burglary investigation.

The Ridgefield Police Department is investigating a reported residential burglary on Peaceable Ridge Road that likely occurred Saturday afternoon.

Forced entry was made into the home by breaking a basement window, and an unknown amount of costume jewelry was removed, according to Capt. Jeff Raines.
