Ridgefield Police Switch Uniform Colors
Officers will look a little different come the New Year.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield Police will look a little different come the New Year. Officers will switch from gray to midnight blue uniforms.
The decision was made by the Board of Police Commissioners and the chief of police with input from the rank and file.
The gray uniforms will be used for special occasions such as the 9/11 ceremony, Memorial Day celebrations and similar events.
