Ridgefield Police Welcome Newest Officer

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Police Department is welcoming its newest member.

Daniel Burke, badge #231, was sworn in by Town Clerk Jessica Green during a ceremony held at police headquarters Thursday morning.

Burke comes to the RPD after serving twenty years with the New York City Police Department, where he recently retired as a Detective Sergeant. He will start his Field Training Program immediately, police officials said.
