'Ridgefield Pride In The Park' And More Events On Tap For June
The town's annual "Pride in the Park" celebration will take place June 4, and more LGBTQ+ events and promotions are scheduled through June.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The town's third annual "Ridgefield Pride in the Park" celebration will take place on June 4 from noon until 3 p.m. in Ballard Park (rain or shine) with a parade around the park starting at 1 p.m.
The celebration is free, open to the public and catering to families, with a variety of activities, crafts, entertainment and informational tables geared towards all ages, according to a news release from event organizers RidgefieldCT Pride, Ridgefield Parks & Recreation and the Ridgefield Schools Combined GSA.
Activities will include:

- Bands
- Bring your own picnic
- Raffle
- Photo station
- Lawn games
- Crafts
- Kid-friendly activities (ie: Simon Says, coloring, beading…)
