Ridgefield To Raise LGBTQ Flag Over Town Hall In June
The town will celebrate the start of Pride Month with a flag-raising ceremony on June 1.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The town will celebrate the start of Pride Month with a flag-raising ceremony on Wednesday, June 1, at 9:00 a.m.
Dignitaries expected to be on hand when the rainbow meets the sky in front of Town Hall include First Selectman Rudy Marconi, State Rep. Aimee Berger-Girvalo, State Sen. Will Haskell, State Sen. Julie Kushner.
The town's third annual "Ridgefield Pride in the Park" celebration will take place on June 4 from noon until 3 p.m. in Ballard Park (rain or shine) with a parade around the park starting at 1 p.m.
