It with great honor to announce that the Ridgefield Republican Town Committee has unanimously endorsed Marty Heiser as our candidate for the open BOS seat. Marty brings a significant and extensive knowledgebase and experience to this position. He served on the Board of Finance for 24 years and as Chairman for 9 years. Some of his notable achievements were his involvement with the Bundle, public-private initiatives such as Tiger Hollow, The Prospector Theater, The Playhouse and Tiger Baseball Park.

Additionally, Marty is very involved with our community and serves on the Boards of the Ridgefield Boys and Girls Club and Young Life Regional. He is the owner and operator of Service Unlimited. Marty has lived in Town for over 35 years with his wife Caroline. His 3 children, now adults, all attended Ridgefield Public Schools. In his spare time, Marty has a local access cable television show and enjoys refereeing hockey at the youth, Prep and Public high school, College and Pro levels.

At this critical time, we need Marty’s experience to shepherd our Town through the multitude of challenges ahead. Whether it’s the new Safety Building, RPS Master Plan, upcoming changes to the Form of Government or the maintenance of our Town buildings and roads, Marty is the right person to help secure Ridgefield’s future.
