Ridgefield Resident Accused Of Driving Drunk In New York

New York State police in Troop K said they removed 20 impaired drivers from public roads over the April 13 weekend. Among them was a Ridgefield resident.

On April 12, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Barbara M. Hensel, 54, of Ridgefield, CT, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. She was traveling on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.
