At the Rotary Club of Ridgefield’s July 3rd meeting, Rotary Grants were presented. Gina Wilson of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra received a Rotary Grant to support Take a Seat Program for Kids, where youth involvement in the arts will be beneficial to all in the community for years to come. Diana Friedlander of We Will Ride Therapeutic Riding received a Rotary Grant to help cover Veterinary Expenses. We Will Ride offers individualized programs of equine assistant activities and therapies for people with disabilities aimed at enhancing their physical, mental, emotional and social functioning in everyday life. The Rotary Club is honored to make such grants to these organizations that embody the Club’s Four-Way Test: (1) Is it the truth?; (2) Is it fair to all concerned; (3) Will it build goodwill and better friendships?; and (4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
