The Ridgefield Rotary Names "2022 Citizen of the Year"
The Rotary will be holding a dinner in Dean Miller's honor at the Silver Spring Country Club in June.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Rotary has named Dean Miller its 2022 Citizen of the Year.
The Rotary will be holding a dinner in Miller's honor at the Silver Spring Country Club on June 8 at 6 p.m.
On the event listing posted on the Rotary's website, the group praised Miller's achievements:
"As President of Meals on Wheels (Miller's) team doubled the number of clients served while dramatically increasing donations and community support. While President of the Ridgefield Library the new library was completed, a new director was hired and a new fundraising initiative was developed increasing community support. As Treasurer of Thrown Stone Theater, Dean is helping to bring more quality entertainment to town. And as a Board member of RVNAhealth he helped to ensure that our regional communities needs were met during the pandemic."
