Ridgefield Says to Sprint, 'Here's Your Cell Phone Bill'
A cell tower in the town needs additional components so it doesn't exceed current capacity.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Town officials say that cellular telephone company Sprint needs to pay close to $30,000 for upgrades to Sprint's cell tower, writes the Ridgefield Press.
And to make its point, Ridgefield will not renew the 20-year lease for the tower, which expires late next month, until the company agrees to pay.
Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and Ridgefield all utilize the tower, which reportedly needs additional components so it doesn't exceed current capacity.
