Ridgefield School Board Reduces Upcoming Budget
The cuts were approved to match the budget approved by the Board of Finance.

The Ridgefield Board of Education reduced it’s proposed 2015-16 budget by $400,000, the Ridgefield Press reports.
The budget now stands at $86 million, the amount approved by the Board of Finance, the paper reports. The initial 1.45 percent increase was within the guideline of a 2 percent spending increase.
The current budget falls within the 0.98 percent increase approved by the Board of Finance.
