Ridgefield SummerFest 2026 To Feature 100-Plus Vendors And Main Street Closures
Ridgefield SummerFest returns July 25 with 100-plus vendors, entertainment, family activities and Main Street closures.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Downtown Ridgefield will host SummerFest 2026 on Saturday, July 25, with more than 100 vendors, live entertainment, family activities and temporary road closures.
A parking ban will be in effect on Main Street between Prospect Street and Governor Street from 2 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists are asked to follow posted detours.
SummerFest will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout downtown. Organizers said the event will include more than 100 vendors featuring local artisans, makers, specialty vendors and community organizations. Downtown businesses also will offer sidewalk sales, promotions and giveaways.
The Ridgefield Farmers Market at Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church, free highlights tours at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center, activities at Lounsbury House and the Ridgefield Library are also scheduled as part of the event.
A new Wellness District, sponsored by ReviveX, will feature wellness-focused businesses offering chair massages, guided stretching sessions, mini facials, wellness demonstrations, health and self-care products, and opportunities to meet local wellness professionals.
Entertainment will include a performance by A.C.T. Summer Stars at noon on the Town Hall steps. Roaming entertainment is scheduled to include a DJ, jugglers, stilt walkers and a barbershop quartet.
Family activities throughout downtown will include face painting, crafts, lawn games and other interactive activities.
Bailey Avenue will be closed to traffic during the event and will feature live music and food.
At Lounsbury House, visitors can take part in a Touch-A-Truck display featuring construction and emergency vehicles, Roaming Railroad train rides, visits with Got Your Goat Farm's baby goats, appearances by Ridgefield's Mermaid (for real!), Parks & Recreation games and sensory sandboxes, and food available for purchase from Waffle Cabin.
Organizers also encourage visitors to explore downtown shops and restaurants during the event.
