The boys basketball team has not allowed more than 50 points in any game this season.
The Tigers actually gave up a season high on Friday when they defeated Bassick 73-47 to improve to 8-0. Ridgefield's closest game was a 60-40 victory over Norwalk on Jan. 6.

New Canaan, meanwhile, has had trouble scoring all season and was held under 30 points in last Thursday's 45-29 to Staples. It was the seventh loss in eight games for the Rams under first-year coach Mike Halley.
If form holds, Ridgefield should have another breather when its visits New Canaan on Tuesday in a 7 p.m. start.

The Tigers join St. Joseph as the FCIAC's only remaining unbeaten teams.
Trinity Catholic knocked Danbury from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 65-55 victory on Friday. St. Joseph hosts Danbury on Tuesday.
After Tuesday's game, the schedule does get tougher for the Tigers, who face Danbury (7-1) Trinity Catholic (6-3) and Bridgeport Central (5-2) in succession, although all three games are at home.
The Ridgefield girls basketball team entertains New Canaan on Tuesday (7 p.m.).

Ridgefield has climbed one spot to ninth in this week's New Haven Register media top 10 boys basketball state poll.
St. Joseph (9-0) and Hillhouse (10-0) held on to the top two spots for the third straight week. The Cadets garnered 16 of the 18 first-place votes with the Academics earning the other two.
Northwest Catholic (7-1) is third, followed by New London (9-2) and Kolbe Cathedral (10-0) to complete the top five.
Hartford Public (9-0) is sixth, followed by Career (8-1), Windsor (8-0), Ridgefield and Wilby (8-1).
FCIAC members Trinity Catholic (6-3), Danbury (7-1) and Greenwich (8-1) are receiving votes.
