The boys basketball team may get its first test of the season Friday when the Tigers host Norwalk (7 p.m.) in a key early-season FCIAC contest.
Ridgefield has run roughshod over its first six opponents, winning each game by no fewer than 21 points. On Tuesday, the Tigers handled Wilton, 62-41.

However, Norwalk looks like an FCIAC playoff contender under first-year coach Tom Keyes and improved to 5-1 with Tuesday's 75-54 victory over Norwalk.
Like Ridgefield, the Bears are blessed with depth and had four players score in double figures aganst McMahon.

Ra'Von Shular scored 17 points, Rasheen Thompson 14 and Jabari Dear and Roy Kane Jr. 13 apiece for the Bears, who have won four in a row since an 80-69 defeat to Trinity Catholic.
The Ridgefield girls basketball team looks to snap a three-game winning when the Tigers visit Norwalk in a 7 p.m. start.
Ridgefield, which reached the FCIAC finals last season, dropped to 3-5 following Tuesday's 54-50 loss to Wilton.
However, the Tigers could have another tough game on their hands as Norwalk has gotten hot after a slow start start.
The Bears (4-3) defeated McMahon 55-32 on Tuesday and have won four in a row following an 0-3 start.
