Ridgefield advanced to the finals of the U-15 Babe Ruth District Four tournament with a 2-1 victory over New Milford on Wednesday night.  Ridgefield will play in the finals on Saturday

-- Ridgefield is hosting the U-15 Babe Ruth District Four tournament this week with a berth in the state tournament on the line.

Ridgefield received a bye in the first round and defeated Pomperaug 7-6 in the winner's bracket semifinals on Monday.

Ridgefield played again on Wednesday at Ciuccoli Field at 5 p.m. against New Milford in the winner's bracket final. The championship game is set for Saturday.
