Ridgefield Scores and Standings: June 13

Four members of  Ridgefield boys lacrosse state championship team have earned Class L all-state honors:  Aidan Scott, first team attack;  Andrew Buckanavage, first team midfield; Travis Tiger, second team defense; Matt Shannon, first team long stick defensive midfield.

The Tigers defeated Fairfield Prep 11-10 in the Class L title game Saturday at McMahon on a goal by  Sean Wilkinson with just 14.8 seconds remaining.

Ridgefield, which rallied from a 6-1 deficit after the first quarter, won the school's first state championship in a team sport since boys soccer in 2007.

-- Ridgefield's Ellie Gravitte finished ninth in the javelin at the New England track and field championships on Saturday in Burlington, Vermont with a toss 113 feet, five inches.
