A pair of Ridgefield graduates will be playing in the NCAA Division I men's lacrosse tournament, which begins this weekend.

Sophomore attack Matt White is the sixth-leading scorer for the University of Virginia with 12 goals and four assists. Colin Scott, also a sophomore attack, is a member of the Denver University squad.

While No. 6 seed Denver (13-2) will host Villanova (11-4) on Sunday at 4:15 p.m. while No. 7 seed Virginia (9-5) entertains Bucknell (14-2) on Sunday at 3 p.m. Both games will air on ESPU.

Softball

Ridgefield 15, Harding 0 (5) -- Marianne Stauft collected three hits for the Tigers.

Baseball

Ridgefield, 20, Harding 3 -- Harrison Siclare had three hits for the Tigers (7-8), who moved within one win of clinching a berth in the state tournament.

Boys volleyball

Darien 3, Ridgefield 1 -- Both of the Tigers' losses this season have come against Darien.
