Ridgefield 5, Stamford 2 -- Amanda Scammon had three hits and three RBI for the Tigers, who upset the Black Knights (11-5). Ridgefield (7-9) needs one win to clinch a state tournament berth.

Baseball

Ridgefield 5, Stamford 1 -- Hunter Alicea and Chris McClelland each had two hits for the Tigers (8-8), who climbed to the .500 mark and clinched a state tournament berth.
